II. Properties

A) Anti Condensate

1) Absorbs excessive moisture from surrounding environment and stores the moisture
in the micro porous matrix. The moisture in coating then evaporates at extremely
fast rate. The rate of evaporation is dependant on temperature and relative humidity.

a) Assists in the prevention mold, mildew, etc from forming due to no free
water
b) Slows/ prevents corrosion due to the corrosive effects of condensation
c) Lowers humidity passively reducing the cost of humidity control using
mechanical means
d) Controls the odors associated with excessive moisture, molds and mildew
e) Reduces/ eliminates the use of chemicals for sanitizing/ mold and mildew
control
f) Protects sensitive electrical/ mechanical connections from damage due to
excessive moisture/ water

B) Moisture migration protection

1) Controls water seepage/ migration (primarily masonry surfaces)

a) Above and below grade CMU/masonry
b) Overhead substrates.
c) Protects finishes and insulation from moisture migration
d) Disperses water seepage/ migration through accelerated evaporation process

C) Insulation/ thermal

1) Provides R-Value and reduced thermal conductivity

a) When applied at 60 mils. Provides +/- R-11 insulation protection
b) Maintains R Value and thermal qualities when damp
c) Excellent thermal conductivity reduction on duct work with thin film.
When applied on the interior and exterior of duct work in addition to
decreased thermal conductivity the formation of mold and mildew is
inhibited.
d) Protects sensitive equipment and instrumentation from the effects of
excessive heat and moisture.

2) Personnel Protection

a) Protects personnel from injuries due to contact with hot surfaces.

D) Encapsulation

1) Approved for use as an encapsulation for asbestos containing surfaces
